What does Mandala mean?
Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning "circle".

What is an Angel Mandala?
Angels want nothing more than for us to realize our Oneness with Source. An angel mandala can assist us in re-discovering our innate knowledge of our connection with the Source. An angel mandala uses the concept of the circle, symbolizing connection and unity, while working with angelic vibrations.
How to use an Angel Mandala for Healing or Mandala Meditations
Focusing on a mandala engages the right hemisphere of your brain which thinks in images, not words, and which sees the ‘bigger picture’ and projects a feeling of oneness and inter-connectedness. That is not to say that the details that make us unique get missed. Angels know what makes us unique and they want to see our light shine. Using a mandala, we engage visually with the image in a contemplative, non-analytical state. The mandala reflects back our inner knowledge of Truth.
How to Choose an Angel for Mandala Meditation
You may already have an archangel that you are drawn to or that harmonizes with your current situation or question. If that is the case, simply use the mandala of the associated archangel. If you do not feel connected to the archangels at this time, use another angel mandala (which you may divinely ‘come across’ online or in your community) to see whether it resonates with you. You may be attracted by the colors or the virtues and qualities of that particular angel that you would like to realize within yourself. Let yourself be intuitively guided to the angel that most serves you at the present time.

By focusing on a mandala you send your personal vibrations into it. As your vibrations interact with the image, the mandala reflects back your inner truth.
Mandala Meditation:
To meditate on your chosen mandala find a quiet and comfortable space where you will not be interrupted. If you have an altar or quiet sacred space this would be an ideal place. To receive the most benefit from the meditation it is suggested to set aside at least 15 minutes where you will be undisturbed.
Hold a vision of your sacred space and your mandala, with the intent to recognize your whole, perfect, complete self.
Sit in a position which is comfortable to hold for the time of meditation. Place the angel mandala in front of you and then begin by taking several deep breaths. Notice the rhythm your breathing creates. Move into your heart center and release all tension, anxiety and concerns.
You may like to affirm your intent by verbalizing the following affirmation:
Archangel _________ , guide me as I now live from my authentic self.
Focus on the angel mandala as you feel the presence of the angel you are working with.
Notice thoughts as they arise. Release your thoughts and let go of them and the energy associated with them on the out breath.
When you feel the mandala meditation is complete, thank your archangel for assisting you in revealing your inner truth, bless the mandala and your surroundings, and finish your session with an affirmation, such as:
I now live life from my authentic self. Everything I see and come in contact with is blessed and acknowledged with gratitude by my authentic self. Thank you. And so it is.
